ORANGE GINGER ICED TEA

A refreshing an a healthy drink made from green tea, oranges and ginger.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 02 cups Water
  • 02 Green Tea bags
  • 01 tbsp Ginger, finely grated
  • 02 tbsp Honey/Sugar( at more to taste)
  • 01 cup Orange juice 
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • a pinch of Salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat water to a good simmer almost to a boiling point. Turn off heat and add the tea bags.
  2. After around 15-20 secs remove tea bag and add the grated ginger and let it seep for 2-3 mins.
  3. Let the tea cool and strain the tea, stir in honey/sugar.
  4. Add in the orange juice,lemon juice and salt .Stir to blend.
  5. Serve Chilled over ice, garnish with mint leaves and orange slices.
