SPICY CHICKEN PASTA

This recipe is for all the Spice Lovers Out there! You can try this recipe and satisfy your Taste Buds..


Serves: 6-7
Time: 1 Hr

INGREDIENTS:

★ Pasta:
  • 400 gms Pasta
  • 600 gms Chicken
  • 2 big Onions, chopped 
  • 03 Green Chilies,chopped
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Chili Sauce/ Hot Chili Sauce
  • 02 tbsp Chili flakes
  • 02 tbsp Soya Sauce 
  • 1 and 1/2 cup Chicken Stock*
  • 2 and 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp Pepper Pwd
  • Coriander leaves, chopped, a handful
  • Turmeric a pinch
  • 03 tbsp Oil

 ★ Marination of chicken: 

  • 1 tbsp Chili pwd
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric pwd
  • 1/2 lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
METHOD:
  1. Boil Pasta by adding 1 tsp salt, a pinch of turmeric and 1 tsp of Oil. Once boiled drain excess water and set aside.
  2. Boil chicken with adequate amount of water, 1/2 tsp salt, turmeric a pinch  and 1/2 tsp pepper pwd.( Keep the water to use later )-stock*
  3. Once boiled marinate the chicken pieces with ingredients under "Marination of chicken" and fry them.
  4. Shred  the fried chicken into small pieces and set aside.
  5. In a bowl, add the chicken stock,tomato sauce,chili sauce,soya sauce,chili flakes,salt,pepper and set aside.
  6. Heat oil in a pot, over medium flame, once heated add in the onions, ginger garlic paste and salt if required and let it saute until the onions turn translucent.
  7. Add in the green chilies (do not allow it to change its color) , shredded chicken pieces, the sauce mix and combine.
  8. When the sauce starts boiling add in the boiled pasta and half of the chopped coriander leaves and give it a light mix.
Switch off flame, add in the rest of the chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
NOTES:
⇒ You can add more tomato sauce if you want your pasta to be more saucy.
