GRILLED BBQ FISH
Having Night Parties at home, why not try this Fish BBQ?
Yields: 01
INGREDIENTS:
- 01 Whole Fish , around 1-2 kg( any firm fish that doesn't fall apart)
- 03 tsp red Chili pwd
- 02 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric pwd
- 1/2 tsp Cumin pwd
- 1/2 tsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
- 01 tsp Tandoori Masala (optional)
- Lemon Juice- enough to make a spreadable paste, not too thick
- 02 tbsp Oil
- 1/4 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Pepper pwd
DIRECTIONS:
- Make sure the fish is de-scaled and gutted and all scales removed.Wash the fish thoroughly with water mixed with a bit of salt.
- Drain and pat dry the fish.Make 2-3 slits on both sides (this helps to make sure that the fish is cooked through properly).
- In a large plate mix salt, chili pwd,ginger & garlic paste,cumin pwd,tandoori pwd, vinegar, pepper pwd and lemon juice to make a paste.
- Apply this marinate on both side of the fish. Making sure the marinade goes into the slits you made also apply inside the fish and let it marinate for 2-3 hrs.
- Turn the grill on high, brush 02 tbsp oil on both sides. Cover the fish with an aluminium foil and place it on the grill and let it cook for around 30 mins.
- Remove the fish from the aluminium foil and let it cook on direct heat until done ( you will know if its done when you get a good aroma of the grilled fish).
