JELLY SLICES

A Perfect Treat in three layers ;  A Crust, Filling and A Topping.

Makes: 12 slices
Ready In: 1 Hr 15 Mins 


INGREDIENTS:

  • 400 gms Condensed Milk ( a small tin)
  • 200 gms Marie Biscuits, crushed
  • 100 gms Butter
  • 100 gms Jelly ( preferable strawberry flavor)
  •  1 tbsp Gelatin + 1/4 tsp for jelly
  • 1/2 cup Hot Water
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice (or lemon)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1st Layer-  Mix crushed biscuits & butter and press the mixture into a base of a tin and freeze for 20 mins.
  2. 2nd Layer- Dissolve gelatin in hot water (take 1/4 tsp separately). Mix it with Condensed milk and lemon juice. Pour it over the biscuit layer and allow it to set in the refrigerator.
  3. 3rd Layer- Make Jelly according to the instructions given in the package add 1/4 tsp gelatin to it and pour it on top and let it set  in the refrigerator. Once set cut into slices and serve!
