HOMEMADE PAN PIZZA

PIZZA AT HOME!! What more can any one ask for ?

Makes- 03 pizzas
Ready In - 02 hrs

INGREDIENTS-

➤Dough :
  • 600 gms Flour
  • 01 tbsp Yeast
  • 02 tbsp Sugar
  • 02 tbsp Milk pwd / milk
  • 04 tbsp Oil 
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Water to knead
  • 01 egg
  • 02 tbsp Butter + some for greasing
➤Toppings:
  • Chicken 450 gms ( 150*3) - 150 gms per pizza
  • 04 capsicums, chopped
  • Bell pepper (03 colors)- half each, cubed
  • Tomato Ketchup/ Sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • Oregano pwd, for sprinkling
  • Chili flakes, for sprinkling
  • 01 big onion, cubed
  • Onion Sambol* ( shown in the recipe below)
➤Onion sambol :
  • 03 big onions, chopped
  • 02 tbsp chili flakes
  • 01 tsp Salt
  • 02 tbsp Oil 

DIRECTIONS-


⇒ For Onion Sambol-
  • Heat 02 tbsp oil in a pan, once heated add in the onions, salt and let it saute until translucent.
  • Add in the chili flakes, mix it well and let it cook for a a min and switch off flame and set aside.

  1. In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients. then add egg and mix. Add butter and mix again. Knead with water to make a dough. Add 02 tbsp oil and knead to make a soft dough.
  2. Apply the other 02 tbsp oil all over the dough and cover and set aside for 01 hr.
  3. Marinate the chicken with your favorite marinade, fry and shred into pieces and set aside.
  4. Grease tawa/ pan with butter and set aside
  5. Divide the dough into 03 equal balls. flour the surface and roll each dough and place it in the greased tawa/ pan.
  6. Make the edges of the pan into a shape where it forms the pizza crust .(As shown in the pic below)
  7. Pierce the dough with a fork. (so it helps the dough to cook all the way through)
  8. Apply tomato ketchup and then mayonnaise, top it up with onion sambol, then the chicken. sprinkle a little bit of Mozzarella, capsicum, bell peppers and onions. Top it up with a good amount of shredded cheddar and then mozzarella. Sprinkle some oregano and Chili flakes a bit of each, Drizzle with some tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.
  9. Cover and keep it aside for 10-15 mins or until the dough enhances.
  10. Keep the pan/ tawa covered on very low flame and cook for 10 mins or until done.
  11. Cut into pieces and serve hot!
