RAVA UPMA

A popular Indian homemade breakfast, which is tasty, healthy and easy to make. Ready in: 20 mins Serves: 2-4 INGREDIENTS: 1 cup- Rava/ semolina 01 onion, chopped 02 green Chilies, chopped 01 inch ginger, finely grated 01 carrot, grated 1 and 1/2 cup Water 3/4 tsp Ghee Salt as per taste 1/4 tsp Turmeric pwd 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp Caraway seeds ★ For Seasoning: 03 tbsp Oil 01 tsp Mustard seeds 3/4 tsp Urad dal 01-02 dried Red chilies few Curry leaves DIRECTIONS: Dry roast rava until it turns slightly brown and hot to touch.(You can skip this step if your using roasted rava).  Heat oil in a pot over medium flame, add mustard seeds and when it splutters, add the urad dal, red chilies and curry leaves. when the dal turns golden  add the chopped onion, chilies,carrot, ginger and saute until the onion turns translucent. Add in cumin seeds, turmeric pwd,caraway seeds and give it a quick mix. Then add water, ghee and salt to taste. Taste the
